Every candle is more than just wax and wicks – at RavenSong it is an emotion. Scent evokes a feeling of nostalgia as we attach many memories to fragrance. We strive to create natural scents that transport you to bygone eras and connect you to our natural surroundings.
Our candles are inspired by everything West Coast from our traditions to the flora & fauna -the food we eat and the power of nature. We strive to capture all of the wonder and majesty of the West Coast in a jar for you to illuminate and elevate your space and experience the wonder of the west coast.

Meet Valerie & Get ready for our RavenSong workshops
Valerie, the founder/CEO of RavenSong Soap & Candle, was born and raised on Haida Gwaii – a remote island group on the north coast of British Columbia. She is proud of her Haida heritage and enjoys expressing her culture and memories through her soap designs with colour, scent and texture.
Every free moment was spent taking courses, attending conferences, studying aromatherapy, and making soap. In 2013 Valerie retired from the corporate world to pursue soap making full time. Learn how to make soap in the cold process tradition. You will learn the steps from measuring, to coloring, scenting and bringing to trace.
