The Story

"Salmon Season"

Summer is a time of gathering, learning, and remembering. It is when families and communities come together to hunt, fish, harvest, and care for the land. Each activity carries stories that are passed from one generation to the next. Around fires, along riverbanks, or in the shade of trees, elders share memories of the seasons, teaching the young how to read the land, honor its gifts, and walk in balance.
