Candle Care and Safety
To ensure your candle burns evenly and cleanly, follow these guidelines:
- Prevent Tunneling: Allow your candle to burn long enough for the entire surface to become liquid with each use. This prevents tunneling, ensuring an even burn throughout the life of the candle.
- Trim the Wick: Before relighting your candle, trim the wick to 1/4". This simple step promotes a longer, cleaner burn and helps keep the flame at a safe height.
- Never Leave Unattended: Always keep an eye on your burning candle and never leave it unattended. Additionally, ensure you burn your candle on a fireproof surface, free from any obstructions.
- Know When to Stop: If there is less than 1/2" of wax remaining, refrain from lighting your candle. Burning with less than 1/2" of wax increases the risk of overheating the vessel and can compromise safety
