Joy is not something we have to earn. It is something we deserve. June is National Indigenous Peoples History Month, and at RavenSong, we want to celebrate something powerful: Indigenous joy.
One of the most universal expressions of that joy is Auntie. Whether she is related by blood, chosen family, a mentor, Elder, teacher, neighbour, or friend, Auntie represents care, guidance, laughter, and community.
