At RavenSong, we honour June as both a season of abundance and reflection.
National Indigenous Peoples Month invites us not only to celebrate Indigenous cultures, art, and resilience, but also to listen deeply.
Through storytelling, food, language, and shared teachings, we begin to recognize how much we truly have in common. Conversation creates connection, and connection creates understanding.
Why is it called the Strawberry Moon?
June is a time when nature offers some of its most vibrant harvests.
Across many regions, strawberries, salmonberries, huckleberries, rhubarb, cherries, and early greens begin to flourish.

Strawberry picking season reaches its peak during this time. First Nations communities gather berries while wild roses come into bloom. Where strawberries are not native, this moon is also known as the Rose Moon.
Simple Strawberry Moon Rituals for June
Scented with notes of wild strawberry, crisp apple, and soft violet flower, our Strawberry Moon collection captures and celebrates the feeling of warm evenings, berry-stained hands, and the sweetness of gathering together.
Available as both a handcrafted Full Moon Soap and a June Strawberry Moon diffuser oil, this collection was created to bring the essence of June into your home — fresh, nostalgic, floral, and grounded in the beauty of the season.
